In today’s world where everything that people do seem to do more harm than good to the environment, eco-friendly stuff is getting in demand. From creating clothes to producing food products to printing books and magazines, everything needs to be eco-friendly.
Many companies come up with eco-friendly printing techniques that will preserve the environment because printing is one of the largest business industries. Everything needs printing; labels, clothing, magazines, books and more. Without these ecologically friendly printing techniques, the environment won’t stand a chance and would probably die in the near future.
Here are some helpful eco-friendly printing techniques that most individuals and companies do today to help preserve the environment:

• Recycling of Paper

Many companies use recycled paper in their printouts to help save Mother Earth. Used books are some of the best sources of recycled paper. Many people are fond of donating books that are not useful for them anymore so printing companies have a lot or resources when it comes to recycled paper. Asides from that, printing companies help citizens make donating and recycling of unwanted products a habit; which is a big help in saving the environment.
Aside from being able to help the environment and making citizens aware of the good benefits of recycling, companies found out that recycling paper also helps them save a lot of money by not having the need to use new and expensive papers for their printouts.

• Using Vegetable and Soy Inks

Many individuals and companies are using vegetable and soy inks to pursue eco-friendly printing because it causes no coercion to the environment. Using soy ink also enables companies to recycle more paper because papers printed with vegetable and soy ink can be recycled more easily.

• Using Water-based Inks

Many printing companies and individuals who make a living through printing businesses use water-based inks to produce vivid printouts without causing harm to the environment. Just like in using vegetable and soy ink, water-based ink enables companies to recycle more paper, which adds to the preservation of the environment.

• Printing through Wind Power

Companies who aim to help save the environment while doing their job are turning to wind power printing. Using wind power does not damage the environment and does not use too much energy unlike other printing techniques so aside from enabling printing companies to help conserve the environment, power wind printing also enables printing companies to save more money.
